The cemetery and crematorium are situated in Bouncers Lane with Cleeve Hill as an impressive backdrop.
A smaller cemetery in Charlton Kings is also maintained by us.
If you are travelling by train to Cheltenham, and intend to hire a taxi to the crematorium, the taxi rank is located directly outside the train station. Please be aware, the crematorium is situated at the very furthest part of the cemetery grounds, therefore if the taxi driver were to drop off at the entry gates, there would still be a considerable walk within the grounds before you reach the crematorium. The cemetery grounds cover 80 acres of land and signage for the crematorium is clearly marked within the grounds.
If you are catching the bus from Cheltenham town centre the ‘A’ route bus is the one you will need to catch. The bus stop is situated in Clarence Street and is located outside The Bank House – JD Wetherspoon, 15-21 Clarence St, Cheltenham GL50 3JL.
*The Victorian chapels within the grounds are now decommissioned and no longer in use, the crematorium and chapels are situated further on into the Grounds. Please see the site map below for further information.*
